A combined baptism was held at the Mountain View Adventist College auditorium where the six local churches involved in The Last Empire series, together with Mountain View Adventist College, celebrated the decisions and commitments of 13 new members. Over 400 people witnessed the beautiful celebration of lives being transformed by the Holy Spirit. Pr Johnny Murison, The Last Empire presenter, reminded the candidates of the hope that is found in Christ and that he desires for them to live life to the full.

College chaplain, Pr Panapa Leulua’I, baptised three College students. Pr Leo Wright from the NNSW Conference had the wonderful privilege of baptising his son, Lee Smith, into the Mt Druitt Church. Ramese Tupe and Pr Tai Mokoroa baptised seven new members of the Mountain View Church. The day concluded with the moving baptism of young couple, Sonny and Caroline Seuala, to the Blacktown Church by Pr Daniel Vasconcelos and Pr Johnny Murison.

For Mountain View this was the conclusion of  three spirit-filled months. The journey began in April with a Youth Revival Week titled – “The App Store – Free Applications for Life,” followed by The Last Empire and concluding with the follow up program, “Live the 10”.
