MVAC - WEEK OF SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS

In the last week of February, Macarthur Adventist College experienced its first week of spiritual emphasis or S.W.A.T (Spiritual Weapons And Tactics) for 2014.  The theme was “iChoose,” which focused on the choices and decisions young people are forced to make in a world where being Christian is counter-culture.

Primary school received amazing interactive and visually vibrant messages delivered by Zan Long, which concluded with the majority of the primary children choosing to stand up for Christ, willing to be His hands and feet to their friends and families. Rick Herrera and Beryl Landers were the guest speakers for the high school students; both shared powerful stories about the choices they made in their lives and how God has worked in them irrespective of their circumstances, including previous wrong choices. Drama, praise and worship and special items brought the message to life, encouraging just over two-thirds of the young people to make decisions for further Bible studies.  About half of those students have said they want to get baptised!

Praise God for His moving in Macarthur.  The Chaplains and other staff members are excited to see how God will continue to do awesome things at Macarthur Adventist College in 2014.
