Strong turnout for the Sydney premiere screening of the movie, Hell and Mr. Fudge, prompted organisers to screen a second showing of the movie in an overflow room at Fox Valley SDA Community Church on Thursday 19 March.
The screening of the movie was only the fourth time the movie had been shown in Australia. Equally impressive is that Australia is the second international location in which the movie has been screened.
In attendance was Pat Arrabito, executive producer, who gave interesting insights into the making of the movie as well as insights into the life of real-life character, Mr. Fudge. The movie, which excelled in cinematography and story-telling, follows a preacher who began to question his church’s traditional belief in an ever-burning hell, but those questions don’t come without a cost.
The trailer can be viewed at www.hellandmrfudge.com and can be purchased at the Adventist Book Centre. The movie was presented by Manifest Creative Arts Festival and Adventist Book Centres.
