Leon Kessel, long-time volunteer at ADRA Community Centre in Blacktown, was named Blacktown’s Citizen of the year in late January. As part of his role at the ADRA Community Centre, Leon regularly assists clients secure accommodation; in 2013, he is noted for helping 158 clients. The ADRA Community Centre also provides counselling, short-term financial support and other services.
