KeithRead Keith Broos’ account of his experience with the Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP)

When I was younger, I was reasonably healthy. I would play and referee touch football, but then I started to get a lot of injuries and my lifestyle completely changed. I consumed fast, fatty foods regularly and ate a lot of red meat.

Exercise…what?

Exercise became completely non-existent. I experienced continual stomach pains. After a series of tests, over a nine month period, all signs were pointing to my liver.

Sick of Band-Aid Solutions

It was discovered that it was badly damaged due to having too much starch in my diet. With a young family, including a wife and three kids aged 10, 14 and 16, my health was critical so I acted quickly to help turn my life around. I was sick of ‘band- aid’ solutions and was looking for a permanent lifestyle change to improve my condition.

Information at CHIP is Invaluable

The information and tools available in CHIP are invaluable in helping participants change their lifestyles completely.  The facilitators are passionate and practice what they preach as they were program participants themselves. I went from five coffees a day to none at all and replaced soft drinks with water. My blood pressure dropped from 175/119 to 135/83, and I have lost 20 kilos since October 2013.

People are constantly complimenting me on how great I look. Now, even my whole family is eating healthily!

I also believe my liver condition has improved.
