AUGUST 23 enditnow™ day

enditnow™ is a global campaign to raise awareness and advocate for the end of violence against women and girls around the world. It aims to mobilise Adventists around the world and invite other community groups to join in to resolve this worldwide issue.

enditnow™  is the most important stand the Seventh-day Adventist Church has ever taken regarding violence against women and girls with more than 15 million Adventist church members involved.

It is held annually on the fourth Sabbath of August in our churches around the world. This year enditnow™ falls on the 23rd of August and the focus is on family violence. However, this issue can be highlighted any Sabbath during the church calendar year.

One of the greatest challenges we face in our church and in society at large is the violence and abuse taking place within the family. It is a sad fact that many of our sisters, brothers, and children within the church family are suffering from abuse.

You can get more information at www.enditnow.org.  You can also sign a petition sent directly to the UN to stop violence against women and children at http://www.enditnow.org/forms/35/form_submissions/new.

I would love you to be praying as this day approaches for our churches across the GSC for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully with fresh convictions in people’s hearts and for people seeking healing and miracles to happen. I’m believing many wonderful testimonies will come from this day.
