The Health Department of the Greater Sydney Conference has launched a new initiative designed to provide mentored health experience for a highly motivated youth. The initiative will take place during the 2017 year.  Young people between 18-30, who meet the criteria below are encouraged to apply:

  • passionate about good health,
  • have an interest in pursuing health as a career, or
  • have already embarked on or completed studies in this field.

The Health Youth Ambassador will demonstrate personal leadership and be a good role model for young people. Following appointment he/she will be provided with opportunities to work with experienced health teams, undertake further study and accept public speaking engagements.

We would like to hear from you! Simply write a 400 word essay explaining how you would motivate young people to adopt healthy behaviours whilst still young. To apply, send a covering letter and your essay, to malcolmrea@adventist.org.au by midnight, November 30, 2016.
