The Health Department of the Greater Sydney Conference has launched a new initiative designed to provide mentored health experience for a highly motivated youth. The initiative will take place during the 2017 year. Young people between 18-30, who meet the criteria below are encouraged to apply:
- passionate about good health,
- have an interest in pursuing health as a career, or
- have already embarked on or completed studies in this field.
The Health Youth Ambassador will demonstrate personal leadership and be a good role model for young people. Following appointment he/she will be provided with opportunities to work with experienced health teams, undertake further study and accept public speaking engagements.
