Open Heart International Appeared on 60 Minutes on Sunday 26 July.
Open Heart International featured on 60 Minutes Sunday 26 July with a story on the May trip to Fiji with the team led by cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Ian Nicholson.
The volunteers on the life-saving project did more than 36 surgeries – 24 of the patients were children and 12 adults.
The team led by OHI Project Manager and San Patient Flow Manager Melanie Windus, was 44 strong including San staff members:
