The South Pacific Division is launching an exciting new wellness initiative, called the Live More Project. We are inviting Adventist Church members to enrol in this FREE Advance screening at www.livemore.info before 31 July 2017.
The Live More Project featuring Dr Darren Morton will start in late September 2017 for a 10-week duration. The weekly 35-minute entertaining video incorporates the latest findings from science, lifestyle medicine and positive psychology about how to stress less and increase your wellness. Each week you will then be challenged to complete a daily activity arising from what you have learnt. The daily activities range from just a few minutes to 30 minutes. There will also be the opportunity interact online.
Exciting Results
“Over the past couple of years we have been testing the Live More Project on students at Avondale College. The results are very exciting. On average we see 15-20 per cent improvements in mental health and vitality and about a 30 per cent reduction in depressive symptoms, stress and anxiety. We have also trialled the Live More Project in community groups and found that both young and old benefit, said Dr Darren Morton.
