The Adventist Book Centre (ABC), Epping, has seen several changes in the past twelve months. From the outside, you will notice the inviting window displays, attracting customers to come inside and experience the new, easy-flowing layout.

“We’ve had very positive feedback,” says ABC manager, Mrs Cheryl Keene. “We’ve seen more people coming into the store as they’ve noticed the window displays, some have only just realised that we’re here.” The entry into the ABC has now been diverted to the left of the previous entry, meaning customers can come straight into the store, without having to go into the conference office before proceeding to the ABC.

Once inside, you will appreciate the new layout, opening up the store, creating better flow and an overall brighter experience for the customer. “It’s much easier now for people to find what they’re looking for,” says Mrs Keene. “People are loving the new look, it has really opened up the store.”

There are many interesting items available at the ABC, with something new always coming in. In recent times, inspirational-giftware has become a popular item. “Whether it be a new baby, birthday, baptism, or general milestone, there is something in-stock to mark the occasion,” says Mrs Keene. “We’re able to price match any item from any other Christian bookstore.”

Mrs Keene, a passionate children’s ministry supporter, has a vision for the ABC. “I would like for this store to be known for the quality and variety of children’s ministry resources available.” Having worked in children’s ministry for much of her life, Mrs Keene, is all too familiar with the need of quality resources and the importance of ministering to the young.

Another recent change has been the online <www.adventistbookcentresydney.com.au> presence for the ABC. “This is an ongoing development,” says Mrs Keene. In due time, more than 10, 000 items will be online, available for purchase with a simple click.

On 29-30 June, the ABC will open its doors for their Mid-Year Sale. “There will be great bargains,” says Mrs Keene. “Specials such as; buy-one-get-one free CDs and DVDs; CDs from $5; up to 50% off Bibles; 20% off the top-selling, Revive Cafe Cookbook; and many more specials will be available.” Be sure to visit the Adventist Book Centre, Epping, on June 29 (6pm-10pm) – 30 (10am-4pm).
