GSC Singles Rally
Come and enjoy this social evening.
The afternoon program will include a meet and greet time, music, worship and message from Pr Lloyd Grolimund. That will be followed by Closing Sabbath, a catered meal and then games.
Single parents who would have children with them, please let us know how many children and their ages by June 8 so that we can organise suitable minding and activities, etc. for them.
Younger singles (up to about age 40) are free to arrange alternate evening plans. There are a number of restaurants and recreational activities, including bowling .
If you fall into this category please let me know your thoughts on this idea when you RSVP. The venue is within walking distance from Thornleigh station so easy to get to if you don’t have your own transport.

Restaurant Night

Starts at 5:30pm. Vegetarian, vegan and also gluten free options available.
Parking is available at the SDA Church in Cecil Street (around the corner from the restaurant) or across the street in the shopping centre carpark.
A tentative booking has been made but we will need to know how many are coming so that the booking can be confirmed. Please RSVP at CheonnethStrickland@adventist.org.au by July 16.

Dinner & a Movie, from 4.45pm
Meet at Wilma’s place, 9 Peppercorn Place, Glenwood then to Des’s place, 12 Bagala St, Glenwood for movie starting at 6.30pm.
Please bring a small plate of food to contribute to the meal, e.g. a salad item, nuts, nibbles, finger food to heat up, etc.
If you have a good DVD that you think we would all enjoy please also bring that along. It would be great to have a few options so that we can choose one that most people have not already seen and would like to watch.
RSVP would be appreciated (but not essential). Please come and enjoy the fellowship.

Hunter Valley Weekend Retreat
Enjoy a weekend together in the beautiful Hunter Valley. On Sabbath we’ll attend Cessnock church and stay for fellowship lunch. There will be a choice of activities on Sunday, including hot-air ballooning, a bike ride through the vineyards, visit to the Hunter Valley Gardens, local shopping/markets, etc.

For a short time people living in NNSW have first preference so I would encourage our northern neighbours to get in early before spots are taken by people from other Conferences.
